Sandy Creek beat heritage 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Georgia State Volleyball tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The loss in today's tournament, which took place at Marist High School, marks the end of Heritage's volleyball season and the first time they lost since Sept. 26.
Sandy Creek took the first game of the match, but Heritage battled back to knot it at 1-1. Sandy Creek's serving and outside-hitting proved to much for Heritage as they dropped back-to-back to lose the match.
The Lady Patriots ended the season with a 40-9 record.
