One in and one out — it's as easy as that.
Heritage won the game they were supposed to, and Rockdale lost one the history said they should have.
The top-seeded Lady Patriots beat a weak North Clayton team in the Georgia High School State Volleyball Tournamen, while Rockdale dropped its match against a perennial power in Dutchtown.
The Lady Pats will host Lakeside at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the second round of the tourney.
"If we serve and put on pressure like we do, we can beat anyone, " said Heritage coach David Buddenbaum.
