While funds were being raised to help put a soccer field in Haiti, the field at Heritage was in use during a match against Eastside.
In the girl's game, No. 5 Heritage topped Eastside 6-0, improving on its standing as the No. 2 seed in Region 8-AAA with two games left to be played in the regular season.
In the boys game, the two teams played to a 1-1 tie with the Patriots playing plenty of seniors in the final home game of the season.
The Lady Patriots (12-2-1, 8-1) dominated play against the Eagles from the start with Nadia Byan scoring two goals and assisting on another.
Bryan found Michelle Borg for the first goal and followed later in the first half with one of her own.
Shealy Kulp put the next point on the scoreboard, dribbling through the Eastside defense to connect on a 15-yard shot for the last goal of the half.
Shortly after the second half kickoff, Bryan scored her second goal.
Less than a minute later, Brittany Gray capped the scoring with 27 minutes left to go.
Heritage goalkeeper Melissa Drish tallied her 11th shutout of the season.
The boys, in a tight race with Apalachee for second place in the region, used the non-region matchup and final game of the regular season to start several seniors.
The Patriots (9-3-2, 7-2) scored first as Tyler Peoples found Se Hoon Ahn for a goal with 2:40 left in the first half.
Joe Gaddis tied the game for the Eagles, halfway into the second half.
Peoples had two other opportunities to tie the game for the Patriots but had a free kick stopped, and put another one over the crossbar.
Heritage traveled to Monroe Area on Friday, and plays Brookwood on Saturday and Union Grove on Tuesday.
